There are many things to love about Eastern Europe's cities. They are often underrated and offer a wealth cultural and historical heritage. These cities are great places to visit and some of the most romantic spots on Earth.
Bratislava, one of my favourite cities in Eastern Europe, is also a great choice. It is located along the Danube River and is well-known for its art nouveau plazas, shaded sidewalk cafés, and other unique features. It also houses the Blue Church (a restored medieval structure). If you are into art, you should check out the Museum of Contemporary Art in the city. Bratislava, aside from its historical attractions, is also a great destination for nightlife.
The experience of visiting this city is unlike any other. This charming city boasts Gothic and Renaissance architecture. There is a vibrant modern art scene, as well as a great selection of restaurants, bars, and shops.
One of the biggest attractions in the city is the Christmas market. You will find plenty of Christmas cheer, pork knuckles and mulled wines at this market. It is found in the central square.
Prague is full of sights and attractions, but you must also visit the Old Town. It is a wonderful place to explore and has the distinction of being Europe's best-preserved medieval city. Prague is a must-see Eastern European city with its cathedrals and Gothic buildings.
Budapest is a wonderful city with a rich culture. It is a budget friendly destination, and its many festivals in the spring and fall are well worth a visit. The Hungarian capital has a unique architectural flair and its Main Market Square is an amazing 10-acre complex that is packed with galleries and a large variety of shops and restaurants.
Ljubljana, a small town, offers a wonderful mix of traditional and modern. This historic city's cobblestone streets will amaze you with their beauty. This small city has plenty to offer, from the Castle to Museum of Modern Art to charming and quirky Kneza Mihaila.
When planning a trip to these Eastern European destinations, make sure you read up on the country's laws and regulations. Moscow, for example, is quite different than other European capitals. Visas might not be possible for all visitors. Keep your wits about yourself and you will be able to get a great glimpse into a country with many unique characters.
Mostar is a beautiful destination. The city boasts a stunning skyline and charming cobblestone riverside. The city was severely damaged during the Bosnian War. However, it retains its charm.
Try to visit Plitvice Lakes, while you're here. This is a beautiful place to go hiking and is a UNESCO World Heritage property.

Traveling shouldn't be just about getting to one destination from another. It should not be about just getting from point A to B.
We created "Traveler", an app that allows you to plan your trip by creating itineraries according to your interests.
We are currently working on adding more features such as booking hotels, flights, renting cars, etc.
This project had the goal of creating a simple travel planning tool that would allow people to see more while they are away.
